Severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes may develop today. The greatest risk for tornadoes will be between 4 and 8 PM local time. Any thunderstorm capable of producing tornadoes will be accompanied by hail up to the size of baseballs and torrential rain. Significant damage or destruction to infrastructure, homes and the natural environment is possible. In the event of a tornado, or if a tornado warning is issued for your area: go indoors to a room on the lowest floor, away from outside walls and windows, such as a basement, bathroom, stairwell or interior closet. Leave mobile homes, vehicles, tents, trailers and other temporary or free-standing shelter, and move to a strong building if you can. As a last resort, lie in a low spot and protect your head from flying debris. Be prepared for severe weather. If you hear a roaring sound or see a funnel cloud, swirling debris near the ground, flying debris, or any threatening weather approaching, take cover immediately. When out on the water, be prepared for severe weather. If threatening weather approaches make for shore and take shelter immediately. It is particularly dangerous to be on a small craft on the open water when lightning is occurring. Tornado watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes. Add to shortcuts
- Go to the desired page on the site, open the Weather shortcuts menu and click on the "Add to shortcuts" button
- Page name will display in the "Add this page" window, the name can be changed by highlighting the text and entering the desired name
- Click on the "Save" button to add the link to the list
- Click on the "X" button to close the panel
Delete a link
- Click on the "Organize shortcuts" button
- Select the link to delete
- Click on the "Delete" button to remove the link from the list
- Click on the "Close" button to save the change
Move a link up/down the list
- Click on the "Organize shortcuts" button
- Click and hold the link and move to new location in the list
- Click on the "Close" button to save the change
Rename a link
- Click on the "Organize shortcuts" button
- Select the link to rename
- Click on the "Rename" button and change the link name
- Click the enter or tab key
- Click on the "Close" button to save the change

- Use the Tab key to move to a button or link
- Use the Enter key to click on buttons or links
- Organize shortcuts navigation
  - Use the ↑ Up key to select the link above. If none are selected, it will select the first link.
