SNOWFALL WARNING
Heavy snow is expected tonight and Thursday, with total amounts of 15 to 30 cm. Snow will intensify tonight, beginning in areas near Nordegg and eventually affecting communities west and southwest of Calgary starting later this evening. The heaviest snow will fall over the foothills. Snowfall will end Thursday morning along the foothills west of Calgary, and by Thursday evening near the American border, including for Pincher Creek and Waterton. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.
