What: Visibilities will be reduced to near-zero locally, in snow and blowing snow. When: Monday during the day. Where: Along the St Lawrence Valley and the Laurentians. Additional information: The combination of fresh snow and moderate to strong westerly winds up to 70 km/h will cause blowing snow and snow drifts. The morning rush hour could be affected due to significantly reduced visibilities and snow accumulations on roads. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Blowing snow advisories are issued when winds are expected to create blowing snow giving poor visibility to 800 metres or less for at least 3 hours.
