Time Span: ending this afternoon over western Nova Scotia and this evening over eastern Nova Scotia. Remarks: The highest rainfall amounts are expected to occur along the Atlantic coast. Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Rainfall warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected.
