BLIZZARD WARNING


Snow combined with strong northerly winds will produce blizzard conditions beginning Wednesday late in the day. Conditions will improve gradually on Thursday. A blizzard warning is issued when winds are expected to produce blowing snow with widespread visibilities of 400 metres or less for at least 6 hours. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow. Protect yourself from wind, cold and disorientation by staying sheltered, indoors or with your vehicle.
