Potentially significant rainfall amounts are expected this weekend. Generally, total amounts of 20 to 40 mm are expected for both days. However, the rain will be accompanied by scattered thunderstorms, which could boost rainfall amounts to more than 50 millimetres locally. Time span: continuing until late Sunday. Significant ponding of water may occur on roads and soil. Rain may also increase the flow and level of some streams and rivers.
