Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which may produce tornadoes. Strong winds, large hail and heavy rain are also possible. Hazards: Risk of a tornado Strong wind gusts up to 100 km/h Loonie sized hail Timing: Late this afternoon and this evening. Discussion: An approaching cold front may trigger severe thunderstorms late this afternoon and this evening. Be prepared for severe weather. Take cover immediately, if threatening weather approaches.
