Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected. When: Beginning Sunday evening through to Monday morning. Hazards: Heavy snow with strong winds will produce blowing snow at times and reduced visibility. Remarks: A low pressure system approaching southern Manitoba Sunday will produce a large, organized area of heavy snow and blowing snow across central regions. Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
