Snowfall with total amounts of about 15 cm is expected. When: Late this evening until Friday afternoon. Where: North Coast - inland including Stewart. Snowfall accumulation: 15 cm. Remarks: A Pacific frontal system approaching the North Coast will give snow, at times heavy, to Stewart. The heaviest snowfall is expected overnight and Friday morning. Heavy snow will taper off to a chance of showers or wet flurries early Friday afternoon before more snowfall returns Friday night. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
