Snow for the Mountain Passes. Where: Coquihalla Highway, Okanagan Connector, Allison Pass, and Kootenay Pass. When: Now until Sunday morning. What: Snowfall amounts of 2 to 5 cm with locally higher amounts possible. Transportation routes may be impacted. Travellers should be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions. Remarks: A cold and unstable airmass will reside over the BC Interior this long weekend. Snow levels will hover near pass level for some high elevation travellers routes and periodic snowshowers can be expected.
