Poor travel conditions expected. What: Snowfall amounts from 10 to 15 cm with heavy snowfall at times causing reduced visibility. When: Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning. Where: The Mauricie and the Charlevoix regions as well as northern areas of the Quebec City region. Amounts will be highest over higher terrain while they will be lowest in locales near the St Lawrence River. Additional information: A low pressure system from the Canadian Prairies will move through the Great Lakes and bring snow over Quebec. The rush hour may be impacted in the Mauricie region Wednesday afternoon and in the Quebec City and the Charlevoix regions Thursday morning. Poor weather conditions may contribute to transportation delays. There may be a significant impact on rush hour traffic in urban areas. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
