Issued 10:00 AM NST 21 November 2017 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. NST today intensifying low 995 mb located east of
the Grand Banks.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Wednesday weakening low 999 mb located southeast
of Funk Island Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today departing trough located north of Belle
Isle Bank.

At 10:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line north-south
over Quebec.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Wednesday ridge located on a line north-south
over Newfoundland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:52 AM NST 21 November 2017 A deepening low pressure system will track northward to the east of
the marine district today then retrograde westward to lie just off
the eastern edge of Funk Island Bank tonight. The low will then
weaken as it drifts southward on Wednesday. Gale to storm force
northwesterlies will develop over eastern waters today as the low
strengthens east of the district. Winds will gradually diminish on
Wednesday as the low weakens.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Funk Island Bank and Northern Grand Banks. Gale warnings are in
effect for East Coast and Southeastern Grand Banks.
