Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:26 PM AST 5 February 2016 A low pressure system southeast of Cape Cod is forecast to intensify
and move northeastward to lie south of Nova Scotia this evening and
over Newfoundland by Saturday morning. Strong to gale force southerly
winds are expected ahead of the low while gale to storm force
northwesterlies are expected north of it and in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Banquereau..Laurentian Fan and Cabot Strait. Gale warnings are in
Effect for Fundy..Grand Manan..Lurcher..Browns Bank..Georges Bank..
Southwestern shore..LaHave Bank..West Scotian Slope..Eastern shore..
