Cabot Strait.
By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight ridge located east of the Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. AST today low 1001 mb located over the Gulf of Maine.
By 3:00 a.m. AST Thursday deepening low 992 mb located over central
Nova Scotia.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:36 PM AST 17 December 2014 A low pressure system over the Gulf of Maine at forecast time will
track northeast to lie over Nova Scotia tonight then become
quasi-stationary over the area. Strong to gale force easterlies
Ahead of the low shift to strong to gale force westerlies in its
wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
All waters except Fundy and Grand Manan.
