By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday departing low 1000 mb located southeast
of the Grand Banks.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT today quasi-stationary ridge located over the
western Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:21 PM ADT 2 May 2024 Northeasterly winds will increase to strong to gale force across
northern waters tonight between a low pressure system sitting east of
the Grand Banks and a stationary ridge of high pressure over the
western Maritimes.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Anticosti - eastern half.
