Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 10:00 AM ADT 2 May 2024 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 1000 mb located east of the Grand Banks.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday departing low 1004 mb located southeast
of the Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT today quasi-stationary ridge located over the
western Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:46 AM ADT 2 May 2024 Northeasterly winds will increase to strong to gale force across
northern waters tonight between a low pressure system southeast of
the Grand Banks and a ridge of high pressure pushing down from the
north.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
Anticosti - eastern half.
