over Newfoundland.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Monday ridge located over Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 2:40 AM NDT 28 April 2024 A trough of low pressure will slowly pivot over the Grand Banks todayand will sweep across southern waters. Meanwhile, a ridge of high
pressure will remain nearly stationary over Newfoundland today.
Strong to gale force northeasterlies will continue between these two
features today.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Coast, East Coast - Cape St. Francis and south, Northern Grand
Banks and Southwestern Grand Banks.
