Laurentian Fan.

At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight low 1002 mb located southwest of the
Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT Saturday low 996 mb located south of West Scotian
Slope.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:47 PM ADT 10 May 2024 A low pressure system will develop southwest of the marine district
on Saturday and intensify as it tracks northeastward. The disturbance
is forecast to lie south of West Scotian Slope by Saturday evening.
Strong to gale force northeasterly winds will spread across
southernmost marine waters.

Mariners are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Georges
Bank - southern half, West Scotian Slope - southern half and East
Scotian Slope - southern half.
