Issued 10:00 AM ADT 30 April 2024 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:00 a.m. ADT today quasi-stationary low 990 mb located over
the southern Grand Banks.

At 10:00 a.m. ADT today ridge located over Quebec.
By 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight ridge located over the western Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:41 AM ADT 30 April 2024 Strong to gale force northwesterlies will continue today between a
stalled low over the Grand Banks and a ridge approaching from the
west. Winds will diminish tonight or Wednesday morning as the two
features both weaken and slowly drift apart.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
eastern shore - eastern half, Sable - eastern half, Fourchu,
Banquereau - western half, Laurentian Fan - western half and Cabot
Strait.
