At 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located over western Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Saturday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Newfoundland.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:41 PM NDT 26 April 2024 A low pressure system over the Labrador Sea will slowly tracknortheastward tonight. Gale to storm force southwest to
northwesterlies in the wake of the low will diminish by Saturday
morning as it gradually weakens.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for North
Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea - northwestern half
and Northwest Labrador Sea.
