Issued 4:00 PM NST 22 January 2017 Tonight and Monday At 4:00 p.m. NST today low 969 mb located northeast of Belle
Isle Bank.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Monday low 967 mb located southeast of Greenland.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today building ridge located over western Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:44 PM NST 22 January 2017 An intense low pressure system northeast of Belle Isle Bank will
slowly track northeastward to lie southeast of Greenland by Monday
morning. Meanwhile, a ridge of high pressure will build over
Labrador. Gale force northwesterlies between these two features will
persist tonight and Monday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with any open water.
