By 3:30 p.m. NST Wednesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Newfoundland.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located from Labrador to Funk Island
Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Wednesday departing ridge located over Labrador
Sea.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today departing trough located east of Belle
Isle Bank.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:23 PM NST 27 January 2015 A warm frontal trough, extending from an intense low pressure system
approaching the Maritimes, will move slowly northward across the
Grand Banks this evening and across Newfoundland tonight and
Wednesday. Gale force east to northeasterly winds ahead of this
trough over southern waters will spread northward through the period.
Winds will shift to strong to gale force southerlies in its wake
tonight and Wednesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Belle Isle Bank.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except South Coast, East Coast - Cape St.
Francis and south, Funk Island Bank and the Grand Banks.
