Issued 4:00 PM PDT 29 June 2015 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
north-south over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:06 PM PDT 29 June 2015 A strong ridge of high pressure building across the offshore waters
will be the dominant weather pattern tonight. Widespread moderate to
strong northwest winds will continue across most marine regions. Gale
force westerlies through Juan de Fuca Strait will ease to strong
winds late tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies are expected
to develop this evening west of Vancouver Island.

The ridge will continue to generate widespread strong northwest winds
Tuesday for most marine regions. Gales will persist west of Vancouver
Island and spread to Southern Explorer. Strong west to northwest
winds through Juan de Fuca Strait and Johnstone Strait will increase
to gales in the afternoon.
