Issued 9:30 PM NST 6 February 2016 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight departing low 956 mb located southeast
of the Marine District.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight ridge located over Quebec.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Sunday dissipating ridge located over Labrador.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 1010 mb located over
central Quebec.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Sunday low 1002 mb located near the Great Northern
Peninsula.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:26 PM NST 6 February 2016 An intense low pressure system southeast of the marine district will
continue tracking northeastward out to sea tonight. Gale force
northwesterly winds over southernmost waters will gradually diminish
overnight into Sunday as the low moves away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
South Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea - southeastern half, and
East Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all open waters except those over the Mid Labrador Coast -
north of Hopedale.
