Issued 9:30 PM PDT 2 May 2024 Tonight and Friday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight trough located over the western offshore
waters.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Friday weakening trough located from Bowie to
Queen Charlotte Sound then to Vancouver Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:30 PM PDT 2 May 2024 An approaching trough of low pressure will track across the offshore
waters tonight then move into most outer waters of the north, central
and south coasts Friday. The trough will weaken across Queen
Charlotte Sound and west coast Vancouver Island Friday night.
Southeast gales will generated ahead of the trough. In its wake,
winds will shift to moderate to strong westerlies.
