Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:49 AM PDT 30 April 2024 A low over Southern Explorer will continue to track southwards and
weaken this morning. However beforehand, the unstable airmass and
warm temperatures means there is a small chance of waterspout
formation over the Strait of Georgia and Haro Strait this morning.
No gales are expected today as a ridge of high pressure builds
bringing light to moderate northwesterlies to most of the waters.
The next low will push into the offshore waters Wednesday morning
with strong southeasterlies just ahead of it.
