Issued 4:00 PM PDT 24 May 2017 Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today ridge located 320 miles west of Haida Gwaii.
By 5:00 a.m. PDT Thursday quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over northwestern Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:48 PM PDT 24 May 2017 A strong ridge of high pressure well offshore this afternoon will
move slowly eastward and will stall over Northwestern Bowie tonight.

Gale force northwesterly winds will continue tonight and Thursday
Off the west coast of Vancouver Island and over most central and
northern waters.
