By 10:00 p.m. PDT tonight weakening trough located from Bowie to
Vancouver Island.
At 4:00 a.m. PDT Saturday trough located over the South Coast.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Saturday trough located over BC interior.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 10:17 AM PDT 3 May 2024 A trough of low pressure over the offshore waters will movesoutheastward to edge closer to the central and southern waters
today. The trough will weaken offshore and west coast Vancouver
Island tonight then dissipate over Explorer Saturday morning.
Southeast gales will prevail ahead of the trough. In its wake, winds
will shift to moderate to strong westerlies.
