Wind diminishing to west 10 to 20 early Saturday morning then becoming southeast 15 to 25 near noon Saturday. Wind increasing to southeast 25 to 35 Saturday afternoon and to southeast 40 to 50 Saturday evening.

Will move into the BC Interior by midnight. Gale force
southeasterlies will continue ahead of the front early this evening
over southern waters. The winds will shift to strong westerlies
behind the front except for brief westerly gales across Juan de Fuca
A disturbance over Bowie will move eastward and reach Hecate Strait
by early Saturday morning. Strong to gale force westerlies will
develop over parts of the central and northern waters along the track
of the disturbance.
An approaching frontal system will spread gale to storm force
southeasterly winds over central and northern waters late in the day
