Special weather statement in effect for:

  • Bracebridge - Gravenhurst
  • Huntsville - Baysville
  • Port Carling - Port Severn
  • Town of Parry Sound - Rosseau - Killbear Park

10 to 20 mm of rain with risk of isolated thunderstorms likely from Monday evening to Tuesday evening.

A developing low pressure system is expected to move across Southern Ontario. Showers and periods of rain associated with this system should start Monday evening and end by Tuesday evening. Total rainfall amounts in this 24 hour period are expected to be in the 10 to 20 mm range. Since there is also a risk of isolated thunderstorms, some localities could get as much as 25 millimetres.
