Extreme Cold Warning in effect for:
- Falardeau - Mont-Valin area
- Rivière-Éternité - Petit-Saguenay area
- Sainte-Rose-du-Nord area
- Tadoussac - Baie-Sainte-Catherine area
- Ville de Saguenay area
Extreme wind chill values of minus 38 to minus 43 are expected tonight and until Monday morning.
Extreme cold puts everyone at risk.
Dress warmly. Dress in layers that you can remove if you get too warm. The outer layer should be wind resistant.
Extreme cold warnings are issued when very cold temperatures or wind chill creates an elevated risk to health such as frost bite and hypothermia.
