  • Sachigo Lake - Bearskin Lake

Extreme cold expected tonight into Saturday morning.

Wind chills between minus 45 and minus 50 are possible tonight and Saturday morning as a cold Arctic airmass moves into the region.

Conditions are expected to improve on Saturday as the temperature rises.

Extreme cold puts everyone at risk.

Cover up. Frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin, especially with wind chill.

Keep emergency supplies in your vehicle such as extra blankets and jumper cables.

Extreme cold warnings are issued when very cold temperatures or wind chill creates an elevated risk to health such as frost bite and hypothermia.
