Frost is expected to develop overnight over western Manitoba.

Light winds, relatively clear skies, and overnight lows forecast to fall just below zero degrees tonight will lead to the development of patchy frost by Thursday morning.

Also of note, tonight is the last night frost advisories are issued for this growing season.

Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
