Issued 8:00 PM ADT 7 June 2026 Tonight and Monday At 8:00 p.m. ADT tonight trough located from the Gulf of
St. Lawrence to the Bay of Fundy.
By 3:00 a.m. ADT Monday trough located from Newfoundland to West
Scotian Slope.

At 3:30 p.m. ADT Monday departing trough located from the Avalon
Peninsula to Laurentian Fan.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:42 PM ADT 7 June 2026 Strong to gale force northerly winds west of a trough of low pressure
which is tracking eastward across the Western Gulf of St. Lawrence
will diminish slightly in the next few hours. Strong northerly winds
will progress southeastward across most of the region this evening
and slowly diminish overnight and Monday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northumberland Strait - western half, Gulf-Magdalen - northwestern
half and Chaleur-Miscou - eastern half.
