Issued 8:00 PM AST 24 February 2018 Tonight and Sunday At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing trough located over the Grand
Banks.

At 8:00 p.m. AST tonight ridge located west of the Marine District.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday ridge located on a line north-south over
Banquereau.

At 8:00 p.m. AST Sunday approaching trough located west of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:55 PM AST 24 February 2018 A trough of low pressure just east of the marine district will
continue to pull away this evening. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies are occurring in its wake. A second trough will
approach from New England late on Sunday. This will give strong to
gale force southeasterlies over southwestern waters Sunday evening.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope, Banquereau,
Laurentian Fan, and Cabot Strait.

Freezing spray warnings are in effect for eastern shore, Fourchu,
Banquereau, Cabot Strait and all Gulf of St. Lawrence waters.
