Issued 3:30 PM NST 24 November 2017 Tonight and Saturday At 3:30 p.m. NST today low 976 mb located over northwestern
Labrador Sea.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Saturday departing low 977 mb located north of
Labrador Sea.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today trough located over Anticosti Island.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Saturday departing trough located east of the
Marine District.

At 3:30 p.m. NST today ridge located west of Labrador.
By 3:30 p.m. NST Saturday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:14 PM NST 24 November 2017 A low pressure system located over the Northwest Labrador Sea will
continue moving northwards tonight. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies will persist tonight as the low departs and as a
trough passes over northern waters. Winds are expected to diminish
early Saturday morning as a ridge builds in from the west.

Gale force southerlies will develop over western and northern waters
on Saturday as a second low pressure system approaches from the west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except the Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast, and the
Grand Banks.
