Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:27 PM NST 9 December 2025 An intense low pressure system east of Belle Isle Bank will continueto track northeastward away from the district. Strong to gale force
west to northwesterlies will persist throughout the remainder of the
forecast period in the low's wake.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, East Coast - Cape
St. Francis and south, Northeast Coast - north of Cape St. John, and
the Southern Grand Banks.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except Southwest Coast, South Coast, East Coast
