Issued 9:30 AM NDT 5 October 2026 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 a.m. NDT today deepening low 996 mb located over Quebec.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Tuesday low 980 mb located near Anticosti Island.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the North Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday departing ridge located east of the East
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:13 AM NDT 5 October 2026 A low pressure system will approach from the southwest tonight and
track over the Quebec Lower North Shore late in the day on Tuesday.
Strong to gale force northeasterlies to easterlies will develop ahead
of the low tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville, North Labrador Coast, and Northwest
Labrador Sea - northern half.
