Wind southeast 50 knots with gusts to 80 in the Wreckhouse area. Wind diminishing to south 35 Tuesday morning and to south 15 to 20 near noon Tuesday. Wind veering to west 25 Tuesday evening.
Snow changing to rain and fog patches near midnight then to flurries Tuesday evening.
Strong wind warning program has ended for the season.

Marine Weather StatementIssued 7:50 PM AST 17 January 2022 An intense low pressure system over Maine will track northeastward
tonight to lie over Western Labrador by Tuesday morning. Gale to
storm force southeasterly winds ahead of this system become strong to
gale force westerly winds in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Fundy, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, eastern shore, Sable,
East Scotian Slope, Fourchu, Banquereau, Laurentian Fan,
Cabot Strait, Northumberland Strait, Gulf - Magdalen
And Anticosti - eastern half. Gale warnings are in effect for
Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, West Scotian Slope,
Chaleur - Miscou and Anticosti - western half.
Freezing spray warnings are in effect for Fundy, Grand Manan,
Northumberland Strait, Gulf-Magdalen, Chaleur-Miscou and Anticosti.
Marine interests are also advised that a high water level warning is
in effect for the southern coastline of Newfoundland. Additionally,
higher than normal water levels and rough seas are expected along the
Atlantic Coast near high tide this evening.
