Issued 9:30 PM NST 15 December 2017 Tonight and Saturday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 967 mb located over the South
Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Saturday merging low 972 mb located over the
Northwest Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight intensifying low 958 mb located over the
northern East Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Saturday merging low 955 mb located over the
Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:20 PM NST 15 December 2017 A weakening low pressure system over the South Labrador Sea will move
slowly northward tonight. A second intensifying system over the
Northern East Labrador Sea will move westward to merge with the first
low over the Northwest Labrador Sea tonight. Storm force
southeasterlies over easternmost waters will diminish to strong to
gale force southwesterlies Saturday morning, while gale force
northwesterlies will develop west of the merged system tonight.
Strong to gale force southwesterlies will persist through the
forecast period over most remaining waters.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the North Coast, Northwest Labrador Sea
- southern half and East Labrador Sea.
