Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 PM NDT 10 September 2026 Tonight and Friday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located over Davis
Strait.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight low 988 mb located over Labrador.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Friday low 985 mb located southeast of the Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:00 PM NDT 10 September 2026 A low pressure system will form over Labrador this evening then move
over the Labrador coast tonight and southeast of the marine district
Friday evening. Strong to gale force northeasterlies will develop
north of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast and South Labrador Sea.
