Issued 4:00 PM NDT 15 October 2026 Tonight and Friday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today deepening low 985 mb located over
northwestern Funk Island Bank.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Friday low 973 mb located east of Funk Island Bank.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today trough located on a line north-south over
the South Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Friday weakening trough located east of the East
Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located over southern Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Friday ridge located over western Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 PM NDT 15 October 2026 A deepening low pressure system will pass southeast of the district
tonight and Friday. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure will sweep
across the Labrador Sea tonight and weaken east of the district on
Friday. Strong to gale force northerlies to northwesterlies will
develop in the wake of these features this evening.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
