Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 AM NDT 4 April 2020 Today Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today trough located off Greenland.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Sunday trough located on a line east-west over
the East Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:52 AM NDT 4 April 2020 A trough of low pressure off Greenland today will move slowly
southward across the Labrador Sea overnight and Sunday. Gale force
north to northwesterlies over northern and eastern waters today will
spread south and westward tonight into Sunday to the west of the
trough. Meanwhile, gale force east to northeasterlies will develop
north of the trough as it crosses the Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and South Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and the Labrador
Sea.
