Blowing Snow Advisory in effect for:

Poor visibility in blowing snow is expected. When: Sunday morning to Sunday evening. Where: Dempster Highway. Additional information: Easterly winds of 40 km/h gusting to 60 will develop early Sunday morning as a ridge of high pressure builds over the Northwest Territories. These gusty winds will bring blowing snow resulting in poor visibility. The winds will ease late Sunday evening. Travel will likely be hazardous due to near-zero visibility. Blowing snow advisories are issued when widespread poor visibility in blowing snow is expected. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
