Remark: A strong Pacific low pressure system is tracking through northern B.C. tonight and Monday. The associated frontal band continues to bring snow, heavy at times. Total snowfall accumulation is expected to be around 15 to 20 cm. Heavy snow will taper off, or change to rain showers Monday afternoon. Travel will likely be challenging. Visibility will likely be reduced at times. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Allow extra time for travel.
