Snowfall with total amounts of 20 to 30 cm is expected. When: Tonight through early Tuesday morning. Where: Trans-Canada Highway mainly near Rogers Pass Additional information: A strong Pacific frontal system is bringing heavy snow and wind to Rogers Pass. The snow is expected to taper off early Tuesday morning with snowfall totals ranging from 20-30 cm. In addition, wind gusts of up to 60 km/h are expected overnight which could bring blowing snow. Travel will likely be challenging. Visibility will likely be reduced at times. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Allow extra time for travel. When: Tonight Where: Parts of the BC interior including: Similkameen, Nicola, South Thompson, Fraser Canyon, North Okanagan, Chilcotin, Lakes District, Stuart-Nechako, Prince George, Cariboo and Yellowhead. The Coquihalla Highway, Highway 3 - Hope to Princeton Highway and Yellowhead Highway will also be affected.
