Snowfall with total amounts of 20 to 30 cm is expected. When: Today through tonight Where: Trans-Canada Highway mainly near Rogers Pass Additional information: A strong Pacific frontal system will bring heavy snow and wind to Rogers Pass. The snow is expected to intensify this afternoon and will taper off overnight. Snowfall totals will range from 20-30 cm by early Tuesday morning. In addition, wind gusts of up to 60 km/h are expected overnight which could bring blowing snow. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. The Coquihalla Highway, Highway 3 - Hope to Princeton Highway and Yellowhead Highway will also be affected. Additional information: A strong Pacific frontal system will move through the interior bringing gusty southwesterly winds today and tonight.
