Poor visibility in snow and blowing snow is expected in some locations. Hazard: Poor visibilities in snow and blowing snow. Location: Southern and central Manitoba. Timing: Beginning early Sunday morning and ending Sunday evening. Remarks: Another clipper system passing through the province brought a few centimetres of fresh snow to the region Saturday night. Northwesterly winds gusting 60 to 70 km/h will develop early Sunday morning along with blowing snow and falling temperatures for the day. Road closures are possible. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. If driving, turn on your lights, slow down and maintain a safe following distance. Protect yourself from wind, cold and disorientation by staying sheltered, indoors or with your vehicle. Blowing snow advisories are issued when widespread poor visibility in blowing snow is expected.
