SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT

Falling snow levels with possible snowfall accumulations at the highway summits and passes. Where: Allison Pass, Pennask Summit and Coquihalla Summit. When: Now through Sunday morning. Remarks: Falling snow levels in combination with upper level instability and moisture will bring the possibility of snowfall accumulations to Allison Pass and the Pennask and Coquihalla Summits through this long weekend. Be prepared for winter driving conditions across these high elevation routes and allow for extra time if driving conditions deteriorate. Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Road conditions are available at drivebc.ca.
