SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT

A winter storm is expected. What : Total snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 centimetres over a 24-hour period. Strong winds reaching between 60 and 70 kilometres per hour. Blowing snow resulting in greatly reduced visibilities. When: Wednesday and Thursday Where : Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Lower St Lawrence, Gaspé Peninsula and North Shore. Additional information: Travel will be difficult in snow and blowing snow. There will likely be transportation delays and cancellations. Road closures are possible. Consider delaying or cancelling any non-essential travel. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
